David Hilliard, 80, of Bellefontaine, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
He was born July 27, 1918 in Perry County, the son of Daniel and Lennie (June) McCutchion Hilliard. He was a member of the Church of God, West Liberty, and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine (Wren) Hilliard; twin daughters, Karen Hilliard-Shaw and Sharon Hilliard-Organ, both of Bellefontaine; four sons, Jerry (Debra) Hilliard, David W. (Lisa) Hilliard II and Randy Hilliard, all of Bellefontaine, and Richard Hilliard of Urbana; a brother, Robert Hilliard of Urbana; 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne and Dorthea, and three brothers, Dwight, Elwin and Danny.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Littelton & Rue Funeral Home, Highland Chapel, West Liberty.
The Rev. Ray Headings will conduct services beginning at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of God in West Liberty. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
