John Barber, who lives on the southwest side of Crystal Lake and his daughter became very ill from eating mushrooms which they thought were edible. Mr. Barber became very ill and the following evening he died from eating poisonous mushrooms, which was the doctor’s report. His daughter also became ill but she hadn’t eaten as many as her father. Mr. Barber was 65 years of age and is survived by his wife and several children.
