Of Minneapolis Went Home with his Lord February 7, 2012 Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Betty, his parents, Bernhard & Adele Krause, and sister Dorothy Neumann. Survived by sons, Tom (Nicole) and Todd; grandchildren, Andrew & Allison; sisters Beverly Fredricks & Carol Miller; brother-in-law, Roy Nokleby; nephews, nieces & cousins. Born in Milwaukee, WI, Don served with the U.S. Army in France & Germany during WWII. He graduated from Northwestern College, North Park Seminary, and earned a Masters Degree at So. Illinois Univ. Don shared his deep Christian faith throughout 60-plus years of ministry. He pastored several churches including Maplewood Covenant & Bensonvale (Omaha) Covenant. After a year on staff at Minnehaha Academy, Don served over 40 years as a chaplain at various Twin Cities hospitals and care facilities, including Metropolitan Medical Center, Fairview Southdale, North Memorial & Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills. An athlete and avid sportsman, he loved to travel, & was an accomplished vocalist and photographer. Thanks to all the caring staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and especially Dr. C. Edward Vaurio. Memorials preferred to Northwestern College for the benefit of the Donald B. Krause Scholarship Fund for aspiring chaplaincy students. Visitation 5-8 PM FRIDAY, 2/24, Albin Chapel, 6855 Rowland Rd., Eden Prairie. Service 2 PM SATURDAY 2/25 (visitation 12:30-2PM) at Salem Covenant Church 2655 5th St. NW, New Brighton, MN. www.salemcov.org. Interment Monday 11 AM 2/27, Ft.
