Lorraine Lanham Davenport, 65, widow of Lawrence P. Davenport Sr., died Wednesday, February 27, 2002. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kitty and Jeff DeWeese, Larry and Vickie Davenport, Cheryl and Tracy Echols and Christy and Ray Sperlazza; seven grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan DeWeese, Timmy Davenport, Pierce and Kiersten Echols and Joey and Clay Sperlazza; four brothers and four sisters and their spouses; two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., where the family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Winfree Memorial Baptist Church, 13617 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park.
