Louise Calloway
1920 ~ 2012
Louise Calloway, age 91, was carried to heaven by angels on Friday, February 10, 2012.
She was born October 21, 1920 in Plant City, FL and was the oldest of five children. Louise enjoyed gardening and loved all flowers, especially roses. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed picking fresh vegetables from the garden. Louise loved animals and animals loved her. Her cockatiel's, "Sassy", "Missy" and "Sunny" will miss her greatly as well as "Sniffles" a Lhasa Apso who laid at her bedside watching over her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Alfred T. Calloway and her precious son, Hardy Calloway. She is now happily reunited with them in heaven.
She is survived by three sons, William A. "Stony" Calloway and his wife Joan of Pace, FL, Jim E. Calloway of Fairhope, AL, Carl Dave Calloway and his wife Betty of Maryville, TN; one daughter, Betty L. Calloway and Jack L. Bartlett of Pensacola, FL; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2012 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton with the service to begin at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
A special thanks to the nurses and CNA's of Specialty Center of Pensacola for the great care and love you gave to Louise. . Louise touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed dearly by Betty and Jack and will always be an angel on their shoulders.
National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton, FL has been entrusted with the arrangements.
