Mr. Douglas "Doug" D. Haase Sr., 60 of Troy, Mo.

2012 in St. Charles. He was born on October 3, 1951
in Waverly, Mo. to Louis and Dora (Schutte) Haase.
Doug had four older brothers: Gene, Larry, Herb and
Don. He met the love of his life, Cathy Rucker during
his high school years. They were joined in holy
matrimony on March 14, 1970 in Marshall, Mo.

They were blessed with a son Dale. The family resided in Marshall until moving to Lexington and later to Troy in 1975.

Doug was tranferred by Orschelin and opened their first store in Troy. Later he worked for the Lincoln County Ambulance District as an E.M.T., engineer, and paramedic. In 1984, he began working for the St. Charles City Fire Dept. as a firefighter. He was a caring and compassionate person his entire life and working to help others was second nature to him.

Doug had been a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church since moving to Troy. Most
people do not like the thought of snow, but Doug loved to play outdoors with his grandchildren sledding and making snowmen. He had a dry sense of humor that could
make anyone smile. Doug was a good provider for his family. He will be sadly missed
