Norma Dellinger Shipp, 79 of Woodstock, widow of Allen Lee Shipp, died Saturday, February 11, 2012.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock by Rev. Nathan Robinson. Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Shipp was born June 16, 1932 at Conicville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Verner and Virgie Lindamood Dellinger. She was preceded in death by a son Michael Shipp and a sister, Alma Louise Dellinger Helsley.
Mrs. Shipp is survived by a son, Steven Wayne Shipp of Stephens City: two daughters, Diana Shipp Williams of Woodstock and Debra Shipp Conner of Stephens City; a sister, Emajean Baker of Conicville; a brother, Verner Dellinger, Jr. of Conicville; Five grandchildren, Krista Williams, Elizabeth and Stephanie Shipp, Arick and Lauren Williams; four great grandchildren, Michael, Luke, Annie, and Diana Williams.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock.
