Harriet "Hattie" Emaline Lee was the daughter of Edwin and Harriet Agnes Kindred Lee. She never married.

Funeral services for Miss Harriet Emmeline (Hattie E.) Lee, 70 E. North Temple, aunt of Gov. J. Bracken Leen, will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at 260 E. South Temple.

Miss Lee died Wednesday at 7 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a stroke.

She was born in Springville, Utah County, a daughter of Edwin and Harriet Kindred Lee. She resided in Springville until she moved to Salt Lake City in 1907 and had resided here since that time.

She was a retired seamstress and a member of the First Congregational Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lucy Emmons, Santa Barbara, Cal.; several sisters-in-law, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted by The Rev. George J. Weber, minister of First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Springville City Cemetery.

Friends may call at 260 E. South Temple Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.
