Landon Curry was born on April 22, 1902 to Henry and Kate Curry of near Five Points, IN. He went to Hanover College and was a school teacher for many years. He married Lenora Wolf and the couple had one daughter, Emma Kathryn. He later stopped teaching and spent his time farming.
After they sold the farm near Five Points, Landon and Lenora purchased a home near Aberdeen, IN to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren.
Landon had a massive heart attack just as they lit the candles on his two grandchildren's (the twins, Jerry and Larry's) birthday cake on May 1, 1967.
Landon was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He was known as a kind, sensitive and caring man who was always willing to help.
