Major League Baseball Player. Born in Coshocton, Ohio, he was a right handed pitcher making his debut for the Baltimore Orioles on May 12, 1893. After one season in Major League Baseball, he committed suicide after shooting his girl friend when argument developed. He died at age 38 in Pittsburg, Pennslyvainia, ending his career with a record of 8 wins, 7 loss, 12 complete games, 18 strikeouts and a 4.12 earned run average.
