As a young adult Marjorie left the Minnesota cold for Los Angeles, where she met her husband, Kasper during his World War II service as a B-17 pilot. After the war, they set up a home in the Portland area.
Marjorie leaves behind her two sisters, three children, and four grandchildren, and her beloved Faherty Family who adopted her as their grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 18 at The Madeleine Catholic Church on NE 24th Avenue in Portland. She will be interred with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery.
