From the family research by step daughter Catherine C. Cooper Morton, our grandmother's Find A Grave memorial states as follows;.

Daughter of Benjamin Franklin Plympton and Elizabeth Gertude Ewalt.

1st.M: William Morgan Shane had one child, a daugther named (Aunt) Helen R. Shane. but later they Div.

2nd M: Jenkin Harold Cooper on the 2nd of Oct., 1937. Graduate from Palmer School of Chiropractic Wednesday, February 24th in 1943. (Our grandfather)

Both loyal members to their local church. Past member of the Yashi Shrine No. 23 Masonic Temple, 420 Eighteenth Street Rock, Island. Ill. Both were two smart cookies but sweet natured to the core. Respected by Friends & Family as loved by them.

Grandparents worked together in their office. Had their Chiropractic office in the lower half of their two story brick home. It was nice to have a Chiropractor in the family, cause if you favored a shoulder or back they would set it right.

A funny story of both of them, was on the day of our wedding. A full blown Hurricane threaten us by noon. It was passing over Florida and heading across all of Alabama going to the North East. There at the church everyone sat in their elected spaces while waiting for the service to end then for wedding party to arrive. Grandma Agnes, did not care to be setting still during a hurricane which they called "Agnes" ha! Grandpa Cooper said: will it wasn't "really" named after her, then leans over "but ... just incase, we're leaving town after the reception" never the less!(with a blink)ha!

Interests in the Arts and local Theater. But she was at home with oil painting landscape and wild animals. She always had her table up, with her paint tubs ready.
