Rosenberg Herald, March 21, 1957:

Final rites were held Saturday for Mrs. Joe (Annie) Laskoskie, 72, of Orchard, from the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Wallis, with Rev. A.W. Nesvadba and Rev. Fr. S. Miller officiating. Rosary was held Friday night at 7:30 by Father Miller.

Mrs. Laskoskie was born in Anderson on June 10, 1884. She moved to Fort Bend County in 1917 from Washington County. She passed away Thursday morning in the Schumann Hospital in East Bernard after a short illness, but has been in bad health for the past four years.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, of Orchard; eight sons, George of Anahuac, John and Edward of Orchard, Frank of East Bernard, Walter of Booth, Alex of Kingsville, Charlie of Fort Worth, and Max of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. C.W. Davis and Mrs. T.R. McDonald of Houston, and Mrs. C.V. King of Nederland; one brother, Bruno Majewski of Brenham; three sisters, Mrs. Anton Krolczyk of Rosenberg, Mrs. Mary Ann Stolarski and Mrs. John Stolarski of Chappell Hill; and two step-daughters, Mrs. Joe Anderson of Richmond and Mrs. Agnes Booth of Booth; twenty-six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Walter Anderson, Edwin Anderson, Adolph Anderson, Bobby Laskoskie, James Laskoskie, and George Laskoskie.

Interment was made in the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Wallis under the direction of Garmany-Janca Funeral Home.
