CARLTON RESIDENT DIES IN MCMINNVILLE; RITES SCHEDULED ON SATURDAY
Death came Tuesday at McMinnville to Richard William Jack, 67, and final rites have been scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. under the supervision of Macy & Son. Rev. S. James Osborne will officiate.
The deceased was born on Jan. 26, 1879, at Tekamah, Neb., the son of Harvey and Rose Cates Jack. On Christmas day in 1904 he married Laura Christensen at Tekemah. They moved to Canada and later, in 1924, moved to Carlton.
Interment will be at the Masonic cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Albert, Edwin and Wilfred Jack of Carlton; two daughters, Evelyn Schaible of Carlton and Dorothy Wright of McMinnville; a brother Emil A. Jack of Pincher Creek, Canada; and four sisters, Tessie Bush of Sidney, Neb.; Lettie Leete of Liberal, Kan., Daphne Christensen of McCoy and Mildred Jack of Portland.
