Obituary: JANET T. ELLSWORTH

Janet T. Ellsworth, 77, died Saturday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital.

She was born in Delhi, New York, April 10, 1897. She came to Ellensburg as a child with her parents, and attended the No. 6 and Woldale grade schools and Ellensburg High School.

She worked as a housekeeper at the Elton and Antlers Hotels and was employed for many years as a cook, first at the Ellensburg General Hospital and later at KVCH.

She retired in 1972 and had since worked as a pink lady at KVCH. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Robert Ellsworth, Utah; two daughters, Miss Helen Ellsworth, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Lois Severin, Ellensburg; two grandchildren and one brother, Bill Oliver, Ellensburg.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evenson Chapel, the Rev. Donald Meekhof officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF cemetery.
