Mrs. Pansy Irene Adams Davis, age 87 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Center. Mrs. Davis was born in Surry County on November 28, 1927 to Buel and Lilly Swift Adams. She was a loving mother and sister who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Davis really loved visiting the beach and New Orleans. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Bobby Rutherford and sisters and a brother-in-law, Sandra Adams, Treva and Charles Hutchensons and Carolyn Douglas. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Davis. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
