Mrs. Tommie Lee Pope Hyde, 85, of 579 Wax Road, Silver Creek, died Monday at a Rome health care center after a long illness.

Mrs. Hyde was born in Bartow County, April 15, 1911, daughter of the late William Harvey Pope and Mink Height Pope. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Hyde 1995

Survivors include: a daughter, Gerlene Moore, Lindale; a sister, Ethelene Yarbrough, Lindale; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Henderson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Sparks officiating. Interment will be at Aragon City Cemetery.
