Miriam Soloff Price, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Miriam was a lifelong resident of South Bend, Ind.

On Nov. 7, 1943, Miriam Soloff married Manuel Price of South Bend, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Frana Price (Rick) Ohlrich of San Francisco, Calif.; a son, Jeffrey (Lynda) Price of Edwardsburg, Mich., and a son, Paul (Elli) Price of South Bend; six grandchildren, Adam Beatty, Jessica Kubow, Jordan Price, Alexandra Price, Jared Price, Ann Ohlrich; and also twin great-grandsons, Grayson and Casey Kubow. For 23 years Miriam was President and Owner of the Buttons and Bows Children's Shoppes in South Bend and Mishawaka.

Miriam was a lifetime member of Sinai Synagogue and Hadassah, a member of B'nai-B'rith women, and ORT. She was a member of the South Bend Symphony Auxiliary, South Bend Art League and a former member of the South Bend-Mishawaka Chamber of Commerce.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Sinai Synagogue with burial following in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Miriam Price to Sinai Synagogue or to a charity of choice.
