Mrs. Harriett H Haymond, age 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D P Brinton, in Springville, Thursday morning, of troubles incident to old age.

She was born in England in 1844 and emigrated to this country at the age of 13, as a convert to the L.D.S faith. She was married to Edward Haymond of Springville and resided in that city 66 years.

She had been president of the Fourth ward Relief society for many years. Prior to that time, she was president of the Y.L.M.I.A. Mrs. Haymond has spent her life in the activities of the church, and is loved and mourned by all who knew her.

She is survived by five daughters and two sons, Mrs. William M Lowe, McGill, Nev.; Mrs. John Holley, Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. D P Brinton and Mrs. M R Straw of Springville, Mrs. G M Smith, Salt Lake; E O Haymond, Sunnyside, Utah; and two brothers Hyrum Humphreys of Logan, Utah, and Sam Humphreys, of Paris, Idaho.

Funeral services will be announced later.
