WHEATLAND – Graveside services for Elsie Natalie Margheim, 76, will be conducted at 2.p.m. Thursday at the Wheatland Cemetery by the Rev. Delbert Dick of the American Missionary Fellowship.
Mrs. Margheim died Feb. 6, 1995, at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland. She was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Longmont, Colo., to Jacob and Lizzie (Ott) Wilhelm. The family moved to Wheatland, in 1927 and she received her education in Longmont and Wheatland schools.
She married Gale Wilson who died in 1938. She then married Emil Henry Margheim in 1940 in Casper. The following year, the couple moved to California. They then moved to; Wheatland in 1947; to Sal Lake City in 1950; returned to California in 1968 to manage a mobile home park, and retired to Wheatland in 1980.
Survivors include two children, Gwendolyn Marshall of Salt Lake City and Jack Margheim of Wheatland; two brothers, Victor and Ed Wilhelm, both of Wheatland; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband who died March 22, 1989; two infants; three sisters, Katherine Wilhelm, Charlene Wilhelm and Freda Bauer; and three brothers, Jacob, Alvin and Herman Wilhelm.
Memorials to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
