Charlotte Seymour Walters, age 96, of Monroe, died on January 22, 2012. She was born in Elbert County on October 14, 1915 to the late Augie Burden Seymour and the late Jesse David Seymour. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Kenon Walters; Sisters, the late Hilda Fortson, the late Elma Rice, the late Meadow Reavis; Brothers, the late A.V. Seymour, the late Robert Seymour and the late Walker Seymour. Surviving are: Sister and Brother-In-Law, Sibyl and Jim Brooks of Monroe; Brother and Sister-In-Law, Phillip and Peggy Seymour of Monroe; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, January 25, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Monroe with the Rev. Glen Money officiating. Interment followed at Rest Haven Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, as well as donations to the First Baptist Church of Monroe. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
