Mrs. Margaret Andrew, nee Russell was born February 4th, 1876. Death came after some illness on August 11th at 5 a.m. She had reached the age of 69 years, 6 months and 7 days. She was born in Ayrshire, Scotland, came to the United States in 1909, lived in Ohio for 4 1/2 years, moving to West Frankfort, Ill. in 1914 where she resided until in her illness she lived with the family of her son, William, in Johnston City, the last few months. She was united in marriage to William Andrew Nov. 9th, 1895. August 24th, 1942, a little less than 3 years ago years ago(sic) Mr. Andrew preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church. 23 years ago under the ministry of J. M. Adams she united with the First Methodist church. True to her Lord she now enjoys the felicity and joy of heaven. There mourn her death, three sons, William of Johnston City, Ill., Thomas of West Frankfort, Ill. and Robert of San Diego, Cal. Two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Patterson of San Diego, Cal. and Mrs. Mary Patterson of San Diego, Cal. One half-sister, Mrs. Sophia Gill of Flusing, Ohio; eleven
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her death.
