Lillian Gertrude Williams Ingram is the daughter of Grover Cleveland Williams, Sr. and Alderbell Leach Williams. She was the wife of L. D. Ingram.

The obituary for Lillian Gertrude Williams Ingram was published in "The Gadsden Times"; newspaper; Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama: Wed., Feb. 07, 1962:

MRS. LILLIAN INGRAM

Mrs. Lillian Williams Ingram, 2417 Lookout Street, died yesterday at 10:20 a.m. in a local hospital following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Bellevue Baptist Church with the Revs. Bert Cornelius and Ray Wood officiating.

Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery, Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Frank Chaffin, A.D. Cobb, Gerald Hooks, Charles Summerall, Joe Morrow and W.E. Morrow Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. A.A. Chandler, members of Bellevue Baptist Church and all other personal friends.

Survivors include her husband, L. D. Ingram; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Williams, Sr., Gadsden; a brother, Grover C. Williams, Jr., Gadsden, and a nephew, Jeffery C. Williams, Gadsden.

Mrs. Ingram was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden. She was a member of the East Gadsden Home Demonstration Club, serving as president for the past five years. Mrs. Ingram was also a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary VFW Post 2760, and a former president of that organization. She was active in church activities at the Bellevue Baptist Church, of which she was a member and had served as counselor of Y W A's.

The body will remain at Collier-Butler Chapel and will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services.
