Barbara Ann Buchanan, 73, of Evansville, formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. She was born April 8, 1938, in Evansville.
Barbara was a part-time piano teacher and her favorite pastimes were golf, gardening, family and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2002; and sister, Bonnie Doane.
Barbara is survived by her son, Rodney Buchanan and wife, Regan; grandson, Chris Buchanan; granddaughter, Mandi Buchanan; and sister, Geraldine Allen.
Services will be noon Friday, February 10, 2012, at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel, officiated by Cynthia Priem with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the cemetery chapel.
