Linda "Sue" (Barger) Oakley, 72, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Mrs. Oakley was a native of Pope County.
She is survived by her husband, William Oakley; one son, William Keith Oakley Sr. of Paducah, Ky.; two sisters, Donna Irwin of Harrisburg and Sandra Allen of Pope County; three brothers, Raymond Barger of Pope County, Jack Barger of Tunnel Hill and James Barger of Rosiclare; and two grandchildren, Adana Nethery of Paducah and William Keith Oakley Jr. of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Barger and Ruby Bailey Barger.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pope County with the Rev. Loy Barger officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Keeling Family Funeral Home in Paducah, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity or Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
