The St. Joseph Observer. (1919, juni 21). WAGENSVELT WON AND YET LOST: Over a year in the front of the battle line in France did no harm to Cornelius Wagensvelt, a soldier who on his retourn was employed by L.O. Isaacson on his farm near Faucett. A few moments in a St. Joseph hospital Monday terminated his career when he went under in an operation for appendicitis. The soldier’s people live in Holland.
