Mrs. Margaret Howard Burnum, age 95 of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Winn Parish Medical Center.

Mrs. Burnum was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School Class and in her younger years was active in the WMU. She enjoyed baking especially during the holidays and was famous for her Peanut Butter Cake. She was the daughter of the late Edward B. Howard and the late Maude Carraway Howard and was also preceded in death by her husband Willie Burnum, son William Martin Burnum, grandson Terry Burnum and three brothers Edward B. Howard Jr., William Max Howard, and James Phillip Howard.

Mrs. Burnum leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Judith Burnum Cloud (Jerry), grandchildren Jay Cloud, Susan Burnum Price (Teddy), Sondra Mott Long, and Steve Burnum (Krista). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one niece, and four nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Burnum will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Brian McAllister officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Friends may visit with the family in the church on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Neil Mott IV, Leyton Burnum, Keaton Burnum, Teddy D. Price, Woodard Mott III, and Teddy R. Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Burnum and Jay Cloud.

Memorial donations may be sent to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund.
