DEER ISLE - Harry C. Greenlaw, 97, died October 22, 1977 in a local hospital following a long illness. he was born in Deer Isle, December 1, 1879, the son of Charles and Martha Haskell Greenlaw. For many years he was a mariner and later he served as caretaker of the estate of Lewis Herzog at North Haven. Later he and his family returned to his home at Deer Isle. He was the holder of the Boston Post Goldheaded Cane and a member of the Deer Isle - Stonington Historical Society. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Myrtle Greenlaw, Deer Isle; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Norman Greenlaw, Stratford, Conn.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Maynard Nevells, Stratford, Con., Norwood Greenlaw, Wading River, Long Island, N.Y.; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews...Burial will be in Mt.
