Doris L. Braget Tetrault age 83 of Bremerton, WA. , and formerly of Walhalla, ND., died on Saturday, January 29, 2005, in Bremerton, WA. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at the Walhalla-Park Center Presbyterian Church, Walhalla, ND. Burial will be at the Walhalla Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Doris L. Hillier was born December 13, 1921, at Easby, ND., to Harold Roland and Viola (Campbell) Hillier. She grew up and attended school in Walhalla and the surrounding area, and graduated from Walhalla High School in 1939. On January 30, 1943, she married Louis Braget at Junction City, KS. After their marriage, Louis served in General Patton's armored division in the European Theater during World War II, while she lived in Bremerton, WA., where she worked in the salvage department of the Puget Sound Navy Yard.. In 1945, they returned to Walhalla and later moved to The Dalles, OR, for three years returning to Walhalla in 1956. Louis Braget died on February 17, 1971. Doris worked at Morin Pharmacy in Walhalla for nearly 20 years until 1973. On July 2, 1973, she married Lawrence ‘Whitey' Tetrault at Walhalla, ND. After their marriage they moved to Bremerton, WA. Lawrence Tetrault died on November 30, 1988. She was active in the Ladies of the Elks, the Y.M.C.A. where she enjoyed exercise and other activities, the Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church, all of Bremerton, WA., and was a life-long member of the Walhalla American Legion Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, and attending the sporting events of her grandsons. Doris is survived by her daughters, Lori (Neil) McCormick, Shoreview, MN., Karen (Rodney) Huffman, Walhalla, ND., and Sheryl (Lyle) Webb, Bremerton, WA., grandsons, Bryan and Scott Webb both of Bremerton, WA., sisters, Letamae "Dolly" (Edwin) Moon, Kingston, WA., and Maureen (Jack) Gennai, Brookings, OR. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wellington "Sonny" Hillier in childhood and Elwood Hillier, sisters, Lexy Crowston and Celo Braget. Clergy: Rev. Judy Moos
