Velma Cleo Bennett, 84, died Tuesday,
Dec. 7, 1993, at Ashland Healthcare
in Ashland.
Services will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Memorial
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Dennis Swearngin officiating. Burial
will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the funeral
home.
Mrs. Bennett was born May 1,
1909, in Boone County to James R.
Hinshaw and Nellie Mae Hagans
Hinshaw. She married Lloyd Bennett
on March 6, 1929, in Boone County.
Survivors include two brothers,
Therion Hinshaw of Jefferson City
and Jimmie Hinshaw of Columbia;
three sisters, Irene Ballard of Sturgeon
and Mona Hughes and Marie
Wilhite, both of Columbia; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, parents and six brothers.
Memorials are suggested to the
Regional Home Health Care & Hospice.
