Benjamin Brewer was born in 1817 in New York, son of Philo Brewer. He came to Wisconsin by 1850. He lives in various communities within Wisconsin. In 1870 he lives in Jackson Co., WI, where others of his family also reside. In Melrose, WI, he runs an Inn. He is married to Imogene Bacheller and they have a daughter Ella Louisa in 1851. Benjamin S. Brewer dies in 1896 at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

B. S. Brewer, aged 79 years, for 13 years a resident of Minneapolis, died early this morning at the family residence, 30 Seventh Street S. The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 8 o'clock.
