Ada Fern Bryant, 81, died Monday at her home south of Gordon.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Gordon Church of Christ. Bobby Bates will officiate. Burial: Mount Marion Cemetery.

Mrs. Bryant was born to Minnie Etta Houx and Thomas S. Cline on Jan. 21, 1918, in Bunger. She married Ed Bryant on Sept. 6, 1934, in Graham. She attended school in Ivan and Eliasville. She was a homemaker and a mother and a member of Gordon Church of Christ.

Survivors: Husband, Ed Bryant; sons, James Bryant of Dallas and John Bryant of Lamesa; brother, George Garland Cline of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Irene Cook of Graham; two grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
