She was born on September 9, 1953 in Fostoria to Lowell and Nancy (Herbert) Tyson. She married George F. Ferguson on August 16, 1985.
Surviving are her loving husband of 26 years, George of Wayne; father Lowell and mother Nancy of Fostoria; Sons Norman (Cindy) Ferguson of Bowling Green, Aaron "AJ" (Ashley) Ferguson of Cygnet; Daughters Barbara (Rob) Warner of Gilbert, Arizona, Emily (Andrew S.) Fausnaugh of Fremont; Sisters Ann (Ken) Philpot of Fremont, Lucinda "Cindy" (Mike) Huff of Kansas, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Julie was preceded in death by Brother Adam Tyson.
Julie was a 1971 graduate of Fostoria High School. After graduating she worked as a waitress at a truck stop outside of Fostoria. She then worked at Findlay Industries, the Bradner Cardinal Grocery store, and then retired from Big Lots in Bowling Green where she worked for 11 years. After retiring she enjoyed homemaking, collecting Hall Wear (ceramic dishes), ceramic Indian baby dolls, going to flea markets, sewing, and gardening.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday (January 19, 2012) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio where a Celebration of Life Service will start at 10:00 AM Friday with Pastor Tim Wisehart officiating.
Burial will be at Graham cemetery near Wayne
