Mrs. Pidgeon, who was born in David City, Neb., died Friday.
She married Lee Pidgeon in 1930 and they lived in Deuell County, Nebraska for 10 years.
They moved to Jump Off Joe in 1941 and to Valley, Wash., in 1945.
Mrs. Pidgeon was a homemaker and worked as a clerk at the Valley Post Office for 19 years. She retired in 1974. She also operated Pidgeon's Valley Service Station with her husband and worked as the secretary for the Valley Fair.
Her husband died in 1981.
In 1986 she moved to Chewelah, Wash., where she served as the Valley Fair grand marshal.
Mrs. Pidgeon moved to Colville four years ago.
She was a member of Valley Roman Catholic Church, which she served also served as secretary.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Clemens of Colville; a sister, Florence Thorsell of Napa, Calif.; a brother, Jack Jacobs of Chappell, Neb.; and five grandchildren.
