Wilson C. Briggs 77, of South Main Street, Northville died at home after a short illness.
Born in Quaker Street, he was a graduate of Delanson High School. Mr. Briggs was a Delanson resident for many years and moved to Northville, Fulton County in 1983.
He was a parts and service manager for the former American Plumbing and Supply Company in Schenectady for 22 years retiring in 1977.
He was a member of the Baptist Church of Northville, former member of the Quaker Street Christian Church, and a charter member of the Delanson Fire Dept.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lillian Van Vranken Briggs, two sons; Fred Briggs of Guilderland and Douglas Briggs of Delanson, two sisters; Grace Wipple of Altamont, Katherine Erckman of Margate, Florida.
