Dec. 8, 1783 Joseph Snodgrass named Deputy Sheriff and took oath of office (p. 375)

Edmiston's Fort was located on the Snodgrass's farm at Lodi, Washington Co, VA (p. 235)

This my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all others. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 15th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven.
