Alderson, Leland B, age 98, of Frankfort, IL formerly of Glenwood and Kinmundy, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012. Army veteran of World War II. Beloved husband for 66 years of Fermy, loving father of Thomas (Joyce). Proud grandfather of Courtney Lozen (Nicholas), Ryan, and Katherine. Dear son of the late Clarence and Olga. Loving brother of the late Roland (late Mary Ellen). Brother-in-law of Delphine Dermody, the late Frank Dermody and the late Edward Skoniecki. Fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Life member of the University of Illinois Pharmacy Alumni Association, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and former member of the Chicago Heights Senior Council.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at St. Anthony Church 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 from 9:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
