Mr. Burford was a well known and highly respected farmer of that section, having made his home there practically all of his life.
Mr. Burford was the father of T. Burford who was killed Oct. 11, when a tree he was felling fell on him and crushed him to death.
He is survived by his wife, Lizzie Vetter-Burford and eight children, as follows:

He is also survived by a number of grandchildren.
Burial was on Saturday, with interment in Canada cemetery.
