"Merle Gilmore of Forestville Died - Merle Gilmore, Stebbins road, died Thursdsy at the Caldwell Nursing home in Westfield following a lengthy illness. Born Oct 12, 1894, in Onoville, he had been in this area since 1920, being engaged as a farmer. Mr Gilmore is survived by three sisters, Mrs Cora Borst, La Mirada, Calif; Mrs Minnie Farner, Collins; Mrs Bessie Powers, Fredonia, and a brother, Milo Gilmore, of Lily Dale. Several nieces and nephews also survive."
