Highly acclaimed and influential British theatre director. Known as "The Mother of Modern Theatre", she co-founded the "Theatre Workshop" in 1945. Highly influential, Littlewood helped to discover and nurture many of Britains best known actors and actresses including Barbara Windsor. She was cremated at Golders Green and her ashes were later removed.
