Debbie B. Abbott 56, of McGehee, AR passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012 at McGehee Desha Hospital.
She was born in Pine Bluff, AR on February 8, 1956 to the late Milton and Virginia Jones Butler.
Mrs. Abbott was a member and very active in First Baptist Church, taught Sunday school and sung in the choir.
She loved her family and loved to travel. She also was the co-owner & operator of Abbott Supply serving as secretary and treasurer for over twenty years.
She is survived by her husband John Abbott of McGehee AR, a son Jesse Abbott (Heather) of McGehee AR, a daughter Carman Taylor (Todd) of Benton AR, a brother Steve Butler (Monte) of Henderson TX, mother-in-law June Abbott of Star City AR, one grandchild Avery Abbott of McGehee AR, and three nephews Gyce, Drew and Ryan Butler of Henderson TX.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Abbott will be 1:00pm Thursday February 9, 2012 at First Baptist Church in McGehee with Steve Butler and Dr. Ed Balducci officiating.
Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Star City AR.
Pallbearers are Dustin Day, Stephen Day, Justin Roberts, David Roberts, Coleman Massey, Bradley Holt, Brett Davis, and Bryan Young.
