Mrs. Jessie Chambers
Mrs. Jessie L. Chambers, 94, a resident of a Watertown, S.D. nursing home, died Sept. 11, 1982, in a Watertown hospital.
Funeral services were at the Wesleyan Church with Rev. Al Wagner officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope cemetery.
Visitations were in the Shaw-Messer funeral chapel.
The family prefers memorials to the Rev. and Mrs. Dennis Wright, missionaries serving in Vienna, Austria.
Mrs. Chambers was born Nov. 8, 1887, at Seney, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reeves. She married Robert E. Chambers June 6, 1917, at LeMars.
The couple lived on a farm near Thomas until 1919 when they moved to LeMars.
In 1922 they returned to the farm near Thomas, where they made their home until moving to Watertown in 1943. They were charter members of the Watertown Wesleyan Church.
Survivors are several nieces and nephews
