Funeral services for Albert Fred Ahlman, who died July 10, were conducted by the Rev. Paul W. Caton in the Winner Methodist Church.
Burial was in the Colome Cemetery under the direction of the Mason Funeral home.
Mr. Ahlman was born July 13, 1894 at Norfolk, Neb., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ahlman. He accompanied his father to Dog Ear Township, where they homesteaded in 1909. He was married Nov. 29, 1922 to Miss Roberta Wygal.
He lived on the family homestead until his death. His civic interests included work on the original erection of the Lakeview Community Church, of which he was a member. He served many years as a township supervisor and on the local schoolboard.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, Eugene, living in Dog Ear Township, and Robert, who has an ajoining farm, also four grandchildren, and a sister, Harriet, of Chicago.
