Graveside services for Lynn Cecil Hudson, of Avant, were held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Reverend Steve Johnson officiated. Casket bearers were Matthew Hudson, Shane Sutton, Allan Hurst, Jason Jackson, Lloyd Hudson, and Wayne Roach. Lynn was born October 17, 1951 in Tulsa, OK to Lloyd Charlie and Kathleen (Jones) Hudson. He passed away February 5, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 60. He was an engineer, machinist, electrician and handy-man for anyone who needed it. Lynn was a Judge for the City of Avant and member of the Avant City Council. He was also a volunteer member of the Avant Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Hudson; sons, Lynn Hudson, II and Matt Hudson and wife Plapy; daughters, Shelly Hurst and husband Allan, and Denice Sutton and husband Shane; grandchildren, Joshua Giles, Kaitlyn Giles, Jasmine Hudson and Kylie Sutton; and brothers, Lloyd Hudson, Sr., and Larry Hudson, who passed away a short time later. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Kathleen Hudson.
