Mrs. Claudia Simpson Bowie, 70, of 410 E. Washington St.,wife of Olin A. Bowie, died last Wednesday morning.
She was born in Abbeville, a daughter of the late John and Susan Ellis Simpson.
She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church.
Survliving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Jasper (Katie) Davis of Abbeville and Mrs.James (Doris) Milligan of Glastonbury NC; two brothers, Dallas Simpson of Lynchburg VA; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Harris Funeral Home. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
