Cosby Austin "Granny""Nannie" Dalton Bishop, 83, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at her home in Christiansburg with her family by her side. She was born August 18, 1929, in Carroll County, a daughter of the late P. G. and Minnie Dalton. She was a retired cook, cashier, and I.D. checker at Radford University. She was also employed by Chris's Restaurant & Catering for a number of years. She was a very caring and loving person and was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by two brothers Everette Dalton and Clifford Dalton; as well as her little dog, Ratchet, whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Betsy King officiating. Interment will be private at the Lytton Cemetery in Walton. The family will receive friends Sunday January 27, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
