Mrs. Melissa Meggers
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walker, Iowa for Mrs. Melissa Meggers, 84, who died at 3 a.m. Sunday at Woodlawn convalescent home where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Services will be at the Walker Methodist church, with the church pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Walker cemetery.
Mrs. Meggers was born November 18, 1877, at Coggon, Iowa the daughter of Jason and Pheba Andrews. She married Chris Meggers in 1904.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lu Carson, of Rowley, Iowa; one granddaughter, Mrs. Shirley Barron, 644 Newton St; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and four sisters.
