Philip Dean Driggers, Sr., of Round O, entered into eternal rest February 5, 2012.

Mr. Driggers was born January 31, 1955 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Edgar Mendel Driggers and Anna Sue Montjoy Driggers.

Philip was formerly employed with Farmall International, Westvaco, and Pioneer Machinery; and was currently employed with Bootle Logging.

He was a member of Bedon Baptist Church. Philip was a loving husband and father and a doting grandfather. He enjoyed racing, traveling and four-wheeling, but most of all, loved fishing and going on fishing trips with family and friends. He was a hard worker, dependable, and could fix anything. Philip would always do anything for anyone that he could.

Surviving are: his wife of 34 years, Marie Seigler Driggers of Round O; son, Phil Driggers, Jr. and wife Sabrina of Walterboro; grandchildren, Gracie Driggers and Landon Hudson; brother, James M. "Jim" Driggers and wife Joan of Round O; sister, Miriam D. Humphries and husband Thomas of Round O; mother-in-law, Mae Seigler Harrison of Round O; brothers-in-law, Buster Harrison of Round O and Blaine Harrison of Walterboro; goddaughter, Amber Driggers of Round O; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Jason Driggers.

Funeral services will be held 4 pm, February 8, 2012 at Bedon Baptist Church in Walterboro, with interment following in the church cemetery.
