CHESAPEAKE - Kevin Thomas Bishop passed away July 22, 2009. He attended Great Bridge High School and was a student at TCC. Kevin was a certified Jaguar technician at Checkered Flag Jaguar and was known for his mechanical aptitude and dedicated service to the company. He was a recipient of the Jaguar Technician of the Year Award. He will be missed greatly by his coworkers, friends and loving family. He leaves this world to be cherished in memory by his wife, Kendra J. Bishop; his father, John E. Bishop and stepmother Laura Bishop; his mother, Mary L. Burgess and stepfather Scott Burgess; his brother, Brian and stepsister Jessica; his loving grandparents, Robert and Shirley Fahrney; his aunt, Sue Vinson and Sharon Neuhaus; and his cousin, Matthew. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. today, July 26, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 1416 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, conducted by Dr. James Young. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross.
