Christine Long Parker, 86, of Vicksburg, formerly of Laurel, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 in Vicksburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Memory Chapel with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker was a sales clerk for Belk prior to retirement. She was a member of West Laurel Baptist Church and a former long-time member of Evangel Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl A. Parker in 1979, and by two brothers, G. G. Long and Oscar Long.
Survivors include one son, Mike A. Parker and wife, Gail of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Craig S. Danczyk and Kimberly McCarthy; and three great grandchildren, Victoria Danczyk , Isabella Danczyk, and Jordan McCarthy.
